Eau Claire Lakes Conservation Club

Members of the Eau Claire Lakes Conservation Club have volunteered to support the efforts of the Vatten Paddlar. The group will assume the Start Line responsibilities and logistics.

More than 80 local volunteers make the Vatten Paddlar possible and welcome participants to their town.

Barnes Community Church

Members of the Barnes Community Church will be acting as Race Judges for the event. Judges monitor participants' adherence to the rules at the starts and portages and perform timing functions at starts and finish lines.  They're honest, they're willing and they're listed in THE Book.

Members of the Friends of the Eau Claire Lakes Area have assumed responsibility for Marking the Race Course and Race Course Safety and Adherence. Over 300 race markers will be set the morning of the race and removed at the end of the race. Safety boats will monitor race participants. Safety monitors will be present at both portages, the finish line and along the more challenging segment of the race, the river between Upper Eau Claire and Middle Eau Claire.
